Property insurance claim attorney fees
Free initial consultation
Allyn PC offers a free initial consultation to evaluate whether a Michigan property-insurance dispute may be appropriate for representation. A matter commonly involves a covered loss that has been denied, delayed, underpaid, or subjected to a consequential investigation.
Smaller cases and matters other firms decline
Allyn PC is willing to review smaller property claims and cases that another law firm has declined. A smaller amount in dispute does not automatically prevent consideration. Each matter is evaluated individually based on the policy, available evidence, deadlines, potential recovery, disputed issues, and work required.
Another firm's decision is not a prediction of the result and does not guarantee that Allyn PC will accept the matter. Prompt review is important because policy and legal deadlines continue to run even while a policyholder searches for counsel.
Large and complex claims
Allyn PC also handles substantial and complex property-loss matters. These cases may involve multiple structures or coverage parts, extensive contents or business-property inventories, business-income claims, competing causation or valuation experts, examinations under oath, SIU investigations, appraisal, motion practice, and trial.
Claim size alone does not determine whether a matter is accepted. The firm evaluates the complete dispute, available evidence, legal and factual complexity, client objectives, deadlines, and resources required.
Contingency-fee representation
Qualifying matters may be handled on a contingency-fee basis. This means the attorney fee is calculated from a recovery rather than charged by the hour as the matter proceeds. A typical attorney fee is one-third of the gross recovery, but the actual arrangement depends on the matter and will be stated in a written attorney-client agreement.
